My journey into the world of glass artistry began alongside my mom in Paradise, California, at her downtown studio, Creative Glass Carvings. Early on, the vibrant colors and intricate designs of stained glass captivated me, sparking a passion that would shape my artistic endeavors for years to come.
While working for my mom, I not only honed my skills in stained glass but also had the privilege of teaching stained glass classes, sharing the magic of glass art with others. The experience of crafting custom pieces for Creative Glass Carvings allowed me to bring my creative visions to life and instilled in me a deep appreciation for the personalized touch that handmade artistry brings.
Later on, I had the incredible opportunity to work for Courtney Gray at Grayc Glass in Chico, California. Under Courtney's guidance, I delved further into the intricate world of fused glass jewelry, refining my techniques and expanding my artistic horizons. The influence of both my mom and Courtney is imprinted in every piece I create, their mentorship weaving through my designs, creating a tapestry of inspiration.
As a mother of three with two furry companions, my life is a dynamic blend of family, creativity, and the joy of bringing beautiful things into the world. Each piece of jewelry I create is a testament to the passion that fuels my craft and the love that surrounds me daily.

Take a glimpse into the detailed process of creating my custom fused glass jewelry
Step 1: The Art of Glass Curation
It all starts with the glass! Each sheet of glass is hand selected and carries its unique narrative, awaiting transformation into a one-of-a-kind wearable masterpiece.
Step 2: Precision in Cutting and Shaping
I meticulously cut and shape each glass piece. A glass grinder, diamond blade wet saw, hand cutter, drill press, and glass nippers are all used to carefully shape the intricate forms defining my jewelry, ensuring every contour exudes style.
Step 3: The Kiln's Transformative Heat
After the glass is shaped, it is placed in the kiln for up to 12 hours. Under intense heat, the glass undergoes fusion, melding into a seamless unity. The kiln, operating at temperatures of over 1400 degrees is where the "magic" happens! Each morning, I look forward to opening the kiln to see what was created overnight. Some of the pieces are then further shaped and fired again in the kiln for smooth finished edges and the desired finish. Glass fired in a kiln becomes very strong and durable. It can be worn and handled with confidence!
Step 4: Assembling with Quality Gold Findings
Enter the final stage where each fused glass piece is paired with quality metal findings. All earring hooks and necklace chains are 14k gold filled. This meticulous assembly process ensures that every piece not only captivates the eye but stands as a testament to the enduring beauty of fused glass.
